Program · Whole house

Whole house cabinets, one frozen spec, one delivery.

A villa is not a bigger kitchen - it is twenty-two spaces that have to arrive at the same standard. Whole house cabinets run as one batch: the kitchen, the wardrobes, the vanities and the laundry are cut from one specification, finished together and crated for one delivery date. A sixteen-space house in Arlington, Virginia ran that way - kitchen, pantry, coffee bar, laundry, two walk-ins and both offices on one plywood carcass. Closer to home, a Saudi villa put the same logic into four rooms, carrying oak veneer and tempered glass from the kitchen through a master dressing room and two closets. An Australian house under a raking ceiling took the same idea into a vaulted room with two skylights, where the tall runs had to be cut to a ceiling that changes height every 300mm.

A delivered whole house, measured

What one whole-house order actually weighed and filled.

Not an estimate from a catalogue - the totals from the project's own packing list, and the per-pallet detail underneath it sums to the same numbers.

FigureWhat it is
22 spacesKitchen, living, mudroom, pantry, laundry, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, five walk-in closets, reception room and TV cabinet
386 boxesNumbered boxes packed for the program, spread across seven pallets and one wooden case
38.09 m3Total volume across the whole order
10,664.56 kgTotal weight on the same packing list

The same packing discipline at kitchen scale - 1,012 pieces and 94.77 m3 for a kitchen plus wardrobe program - is written up on the flat-pack page.

Whole-house kitchen in a South African villa

Villa · South Africa

A villa, room by room

Kitchen, scullery, vanities and wardrobes in one production batch.

More whole-house records, including the Beverly and Modern Villa programs, are on the projects page.

What one batch buys

Whole house cabinets, one finish code.

Multi-room, one batch. Kitchen, bath and closet in one finish batch and one container is where the per-unit economics turn - and where colour drift between rooms becomes impossible. A domestic shop quoting three rooms from three lines will give you three finishes that almost match.

At villa scale the same arithmetic runs on the freight side: one container plan instead of five deliveries, one customs entry instead of five, one delivery date instead of a sequence of guesses. The sequence itself - drawings, freeze, production slot, trial assembly, crating - is on how we work, and the document that holds it together is the frozen spec.

Great room joinery in a whole-home program

One specification, every room

The spec does not change between rooms.

Every space runs the same ten factory stages: 18mm E0-grade plywood cut to the drawings at ±0.5 mm, 2mm PVB hot-melt banding on every cut edge, Blum soft-close hinges rated to 50,000 cycles, trial assembly before the deposit.

  • Board18mm E0 plywood, ≤0.05 mg/m3 (GB/T 39600)
  • ReportSQ2405393, with issuing body and expiry
  • CratingNumbered to the space, packed to the packing list
  • StoneCrated separately on its own pallet

The full specification is on quality & warranty.

FAQ

Whole house cabinets, asked before the first drawing.

What does a whole house program include?
Every room that takes a cabinet: kitchen, living and reception storage, pantry, mudroom, laundry, bedrooms, walk-in closets and bathrooms - cut from one frozen specification. The delivered program measured on this page ran 22 spaces in a single batch.
How do you keep the same colour across 22 spaces?
One batch. Every panel carries its finish code, the lacquer is mixed once for the program rather than once per room, and the frozen spec sheet is what production is measured against. That is also why a replacement door later matches: it is cut to the document, not matched by eye.
Can the villa ship as one delivery?
Yes - that is the point of running the rooms as one program. One batch, one container plan, one delivery date, and a crate-by-crate packing list. The measured example used seven pallets and one wooden case for the glass and louvered doors.
How is a whole house quoted?
Per room, then per linear foot, on one specification. Kitchen, vanities and closets count toward the same footage and the same container, so the number you compare is the whole program rather than a slice of it.
What about stone and the appliances?
Cabinets are our line; stone can be sourced and shipped with the order in its own crate on its own pallet, so stone and cabinetry do not share risk in transit. Appliance sizes are confirmed against the drawings before the production slot is taken.
How long does a whole-house order take?
Ten to fourteen days of factory time across the ten stages, with trial assembly at the 72-hour gate, then the transit leg to your market. The slot is confirmed in writing before the deposit, and the transit window is named on the quote.
