Home / Collections / Oakline

The line we build most.

A thin recessed frame in natural white oak, matte or satin, on a plywood box. It reads quiet in a kitchen and holds up in a house full of people.

Oakline slim shaker kitchen in natural white oak with stone feature wall

Collection 01

Slim shaker, full house.

Oakline is the slim shaker profile: a thin recessed frame that keeps the door face calm while the joint stays crisp. The door is full-cover white oak veneer, matte or satin, over the same E0 plywood box we build every line on.

Because the box is plywood with a 2 mm PVB edge, the run survives the flat-pack journey to site. Drawers, doors and box arrive in the same crate, and the reveal lines match because the parts came off the same CNC path.

Hardware & fit-out

The fittings inside the oak run.

The oak face is the show, but the fittings are specified to the same number: damped closes, full-extension runners, a single door rated to 28 kg.

FAQ

Oakline, in plain answers.

Is Oakline solid oak or veneer?
Full-cover white oak veneer on the E0 plywood box is standard - the veneer carries the grain, the plywood carries the strength. Solid oak is available for shaker profiles that take a plane, and book-matched veneer is quoted per spec for walls that should show it.
Can Oakline doors be painted?
Yes. The same shaker profile takes the lacquer schedule - any RAL, matte to satin, three colour coats and two clear coats, oven-cured at 60°C. A painted sample ships with your first quote. The full schedule is on the lacquer page.
What is in the box under the doors?
E0 plywood carcase, ≤0.05 mg/m³ under the EN 717-1 protocol (report SQ2405393, attached to the contract), 2 mm PVB edge banding in the door colour, and Blum hardware rated to 50,000 open-close cycles.
How does it get to site?
Flat-pack, crated, duty-paid. Factory lead is 10-14 days, then DDP 18-22 days to the US West or 15-20 to Sydney. Box, doors and hardware land in one crate so nothing is left to match later.
Can I mix Oakline with another line?
Yes - same box, same hardware, so Oakline shakers, Flatstone slabs and steel islands can share one run. The two-tone project in our case list is Oakline uppers over a charcoal island.
