The system
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Spec freeze | One layout per unit type; the repeat-unit schedule built from it, on a signed frozen spec |
| Production in sequences | Floors and units built in the order the building's calendar needs them |
| Repeat-unit QC | Panel-by-panel checks at the 24/48/72-hour gates; unit one and every later unit must be indistinguishable |
| Crating and loading | Per-unit crating, numbered to install order, pallets racked bay by bay |
| Staged shipping | Containers land as the fit-out is ready - the site holds only what the next stage needs |
| Install by document | The crew works from the same numbered document every unit |
The terms, in writing
Tariff and clearance rules differ by country and by port, so this page does not print them - your quote names the term and the port in writing instead. The South Africa and Zambia programs ran duty-paid; new markets are quoted FOB or DAP per port, the term decided on the document, not in the chat.
The file that travels with every container is the same one the US series publishes: the commercial invoice, the crate-by-crate packing list - the installer's first-morning document -, the bill of lading and the certificate of origin. For buyers specifying kitchen cabinets in Africa, the cube arithmetic is yours to check: a container that arrives 8% short of a full load has still been paid for in full, and the packing list is how you see it.
The standard
The Nigerian resort ran one wooden standard from unit 201 to 551; the Uganda hotel holds one repeated guest-room standard, custom to the last detail. Every box is 18mm E0-grade plywood at or under 0.05 mg/m³ (report SQ2405393), CARB Phase 2 on the board line (cert on request), with 2mm PVB hot-melt banding on every cut edge and Blum soft-close hardware rated to 50,000 cycles. Each finish carries a production code, so a replacement door or panel matches the original run - it is not re-mixed from a sample. Hospitality and multi-unit programs of this shape run on the commercial line.
